PPR completed the largest solar power plant in Placer County

Auburn, CA. — Pacific Power Management, LLC (PPM) announces the completion of Placer County’s largest solar power plant at a school. The 483 kW power plant is now generating solar power at Del Oro High School in Loomis, CA. PPM financed, owns, and operates the system and PUHSD buys the power through a long-term contract known as a power purchase agreement (PPA). The renewable energy certificates are retained by PPM and sold to third parties.

The 483 kW power plant generates over 660,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which is equivalent to approximately half of the high school’s total energy requirements.
